Can you actually make a career at internet hacking? It certainly is possible. One of the ways you can make a career at hacking would be to work for the government.
This might seem like an incredulous statement. Most would assume hacking is solely an illegal activity done by pranksters. The truth is there might be a number of ways a person skilled with hacking could help various government agencies. The concept of cyberwarfare has been mentioned in the news with alarming frequency in recent times. Certainly, the government would need experts with knowledge of hacking to help create defenses against such intrusions.
Similarly, private enterprises could use the skills of those that have knowledge of how hacking works. Hackers do target the servers of many businesses with retail businesses being among the most greatly targeted. Someone that understands how hacking works might be hugely valuable to the security divisions of these companies.
So yes, it is certainly possible to make a career based on one's hacking knowledge.

The Internet: A colossal collection of things we want and need, and a good bit of those we never wanted nor needed.
No doubt, there are tons good and bad about the Web, and you can find it with clear internet services. But I want to focus today on one wonderful advent of what was once called the Information Superhighway: Email.
Some advantages are obvious: With email, you will not get hand cramps from hand writing (carpal tunnel is another matter for another blog!). There is no need to buy postage stamps or visit a post box or post office. It is instant. And it is green.
Although teens today might argue against this, email is a great form of high-speed communication, worldwide. True, text messages and social-media updates are quicker, but when it comes to touching base on a more complete level, it is tough to beat email.
Compare it to postal mail, or even telegraphs. A letter posted might take two to three days to arrive. A telegraph, at best, would arrive two or three hours after the sender stepped foot into a telegraph office. (Back then, an editor would go through your message, too - too bad we cannot still have that extra set of eyes on our work!)
We probably take email for granted, but we are lucky to have such a quick, comprehensive (and green!) means of communication.

First of all, I want to apologize for not posting on here more often over the past few months. I can only imagine how heartbroken you have all been (kidding, of course). I promise it will not happen again.
Today, I want to spend some time looking at how we spend our time on the Internet. How many hours a day do you spend online? More than 10? What are you doing with all of that time?
For starters, think about all of the time you spend on social networks. Many people spend hours and hours every day watching their Facebook Timeline, scanning their Twitter feed, or checking out what their friends are posting on Instagram. Is it fun? Absolutely. Just be mindful about exactly how much time you are spending.
Of course, we all have to make some time for our favorite time-wasting sites. I personally enjoy StumbleUpon and The Chive. I bet most of you have your go-to sites that help get you through the day.
What about the time you spend actually doing productive things? You know, emailing, researching data for your upcoming presentation, etc. That kind of activity likely takes up multiple hours every day as well.
When you add all of this up, we're online for double-digit hours every day, easily. That is a lot of time to be spending on the Internet.
Again, this does not have to be a bad thing. Just make sure that you are aware of how much you are using the Internet, and try to be as productive as possible.

More and more people are turning to the Internet as a way to get things done. Things that were unheard of just a decade ago are becoming commonplace, bill paying and banking online are readily available to just about anyone with a computer and Internet access. Access to the Internet is also coming of age, there are many places that offer free Internet access as a perk for visiting their place of business.
Even though online banking and bill pay is available, does that mean its safe? There is no cut and dried answer, but there are a few things you can do to lessen the chances of someone gaining access to your sensitive information.
Antivirus software is a must, and you should always make sure it is up to date. When choosing passwords use a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters to make it hard to crack. If you are out and about, always be aware of your surroundings, You never know when the person sitting at the table next to you might try and sneak a peek over your shoulder, thieves have even been known to take pictures of unsuspecting credit card users when they pull their card out to use it while in a public place.
It's up to you to be as well versed as you can in Internet security so you can keep Internet thieves from being successful at stealing your identity.

The Internet has become an important part of almost everyone's daily existence. We look for rental property online, apply for jobs, research travel options and take college classes. Many people use the Internet to keep up with family and friends who live in different parts of the world. Theater tickets and admission to various events can be purchased simply by going online.
Although the Internet has made our lives easier, it does contain bad places that can cause harm to those unlucky enough to come across them. Most modern people know how to avoid obviously unsavory websites that feature pornography, etc., many are unaware that some innocent-seeming websites are not what they appear to be.
Internet classified sites are among the most widely used online resources, and although these sites aren't bad places, they often harbor bad people. Scams are everyone on classified sites. Job postings, for instance, may appear legitimate but are actually scams designed to mine information from applicants. It's advised that you never send a resume online without first verifying that the company actually exists and that they're really hiring. Most legitimate companies have an online application process that allows interested applicants to apply to them directly.
